HTC has come up with it’s new invention, an aluminium tablet called HTC Flyer after a plethora of releases in the tablet market which are android powered.
The tablet backed up with a 1.5GHz processor ,1GB of RAM and 32GB of memory (which is expandable with microSD cards). It has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, a 5 MP camera on the back and 1.3MP camera on the front for making video calls.

All is well but the HTC Flyer is not equipped with the powerful Android Honeycomb.Instead has the improved version of Android Gingerbread which serves as a drawback when it comes to cutting edge technology.Another area of concern is the screen size which is very small when compared to the other brands in the league.Would you like to get your HTC Flyer ? Facebook's new UI for photo sharing on the anvil

Facebook's new interface design for displaying pictures has been enabled to only a small group of users. It has eye catchy UI(User Interface) outclassing Flickr on presentation grounds.
This news came into light in the end of September last year.It has been said that some users had this feature for a while but not released to the general public wholesale.Facebook promised that this feature would soon be live throughout the world in due course and surprisingly it has been observed in decent number of accounts of late.

This uplift is going to draw enormous amount of traffic to Facebook like never before. The box like structure is so amusing to the users. It doesn’t disturb the on screen activities anymore and makes it irresistible to use. Other features include hi-res photos, photo-download links and bulk tagging options.
Ironically, this change has only been followed by changes in Flickr’s UI during summer of 2010.The incredible feature of tagging is still ruling on the top.
Check out for the new interface on your accounts. What are you waiting for ?

Microsoft is back with the latest version of Internet Explorer entitled IE9RC(Release Candidate) which will probably be close to a final edition.

Microsoft renovated it’s browser and came up with IE9 Beta in September 2010 which was compatible with HTML5,rich user interface and the power to enhance speed in running apps contained in the browser.
The IE9 RC is the final stint before the official product release with ready-to-shop code. The IE9 RC shows faster reception and JavaScript works well with it.Microsoft boasts of above 2,000 changes introduced after the Beta release.Chakra, the IE9 JavaScript engine is the fastest one based on the SunSpider Benchmark.
It also promises of spectacular UI experience which dismisses less important portions of pixels in the web page.
The frame pixels got deducted by five since the Beta. The menu bar also features toggle and “paste and navigate” shortcut that lets you automatically perform a search or visit a web address based on what’s in your clipboard.

On a finishing note, the security and privacy areas are taken care of.Tracking protection has been enabled (“ Do Not Track” option has been doing good rounds),ActiveX filter is strengthened by and large.Malware is prohibited from intrusion by SmartScreen for the download manager.Microsoft has been trying out a myriad things to hit the bulls eye atleast this time. It’s now or never !

Google's protective layer as a security measure for user accounts

Are you having crazy nightmares of having your google account hacked and being exploited?Nullify the fear right away!Google is coming your way and help in uplifting your morale in carrying out successful mailing for all it’s user accounts.
The traditional verification occurs in two steps.
1.A password used to sign in to your account during login.
2.A random code thus generated will be sent to your phone as a part of authentication. You need to type the code back into the site and complete the registration.
If that serves as a tedious task, technology is always there for you. There is Google Authenticator, an app for iPhone, Android or BlackBerry that will generate a code for you.
That is all old stuff for google.Google had it made it such a way, wherein one has to go through those steps only while logging into a google account on a new web browser/new app/new mobile device in contrast with the usual device used to log in.
It would be a child’s play for the hacker to intrude into your personal life once he gets to know your account password, and will open all the doors ;as we don’t change it from site to site.
There is the famous ‘Mugged in london’ scam which depicts mis-use of mail accounts by hacking reports Google Security product manager Nishit Shah on the Official Google Blog.
The main ideology behind these two steps is like, one ought to have both the password and the mobile phone for authentication. It is a rarity that a hacker has control of both.He/she may gain access to only the password but not both. This serves as a strong firewall in preventing hacking of google accounts. But there is one more, don’t store your passwords on mobile, says Google.

An universal iPhone on the cards by Apple-Analyst reports

A dissection of the Verizon iPhone shows that Apple is already deploying dual-carrier cell technology.

Apple now says that it has the repertoire to build an iPhone which is compatible with any network in the world. It was made clear when iPhone4 was being made for Verizon Wireless.Apple had to use a different kind of chip to meet the typical and unusual standards used by Verizon. Apple COO Tim Cook reports that the hardware of the iPhone had to be changed in sync with the network. The present iPhone might just work for Verizon. But with the usage of Qualcomm chip;it works with the GSM standard networks like AT&T and T-Mobile USA even.
The ideology was recognized by iFixIt when it had a closer look at Verizon iPhone during the preliminary checks. There is already a phone called Droid Pro which is specifically designed for commuters;for whom it can come in handy on the move by connecting to different networks.iPhone lacked this feature and wants to rage a battle in developing multiple slots for SIM card that enables the consumer to choose networks at will.
This lets you call the iPhone an universal one . Charles Golvin, an analyst for Forrester Research confirms that the next iPhone release will be a eye-candy for any network user.

Don’t kid me! People come up with such surprising looks once they get to know about this.Intel has pulled out a rare spectacle.A spec of what it is can be seen in a 50Gbps data transfer speed that can transfer an HD movie in just a second.
The concept behind the invention is no rocket science but very effective.Photonic Link is a technology which uses lasers( which contain photons instead of electrons) to transfer data, thus increasing the speed by stunning amounts. This is not the end of the road.Intel is reportedly said to pull up the gear to a rocketing speed of 1Tbps(1000Gbps) in near time. Now,this means speed. Can anyone even think of it? Put your thinking caps on,bewildered!

It stands firm as second next to search engine giant google.A little while ago, facebook was at the third position wherein, amazon took the second position. But now, facebook has overtook amazon’s spot valued at $82.9 billion.Google’s worth is caliculated at $192 billion. The rise in revenue actually came from 1.5$ billion investment from Goldman Sachs in January.Interestingly the scenario of facebook outclassing google in terms of asset worth ;is on the cards.Facebook might have drawn the internet crowd in a widespread manner but still has a distant dream of surpassing google in respect to the company’s worth.

Data encryption comes alive with honeycomb on android tablets

We all might want to hear about cutting edge technology in cameras, processors, memory in the tablets releasing every now and then. But there is one feature in the android tablets that has been still learning foot steps. It’s data encryption.

It takes life with the all new Android 3.0 widely called the “honeycomb” which enables high level security by encrypting the data and locked with a password.
Engadget noticed this option on Motorola Xoom. But, google bounces back with a statement that it won’t only be motorola’s possibility anymore.Once can encrypt their “ accounts, settings, downloaded applications and their data, media and other files”.
The encryption occurs in an hour or more.As a whole, the characteristics of the feature is still at large. The standards used in the cryptography (the iPad uses 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption) is an alien thing yet.The negative impacts on the tablet like slowing down the speed and enormous battery usage are to be considered in the long run.
